Terms and Conditions

1. Our Role

Caribbean Portals is a travel agency and booking intermediary. We help you research, price, and request cruise reservations with cruise lines and related travel suppliers, including MSC Cruises. We do not own, operate, or control cruise ships, ports, airlines, hotels, ground transportation, excursions, insurance providers, or other third-party travel services.

Your cruise and related travel services are provided by the applicable cruise line or supplier. Their passenger contract, ticket contract, fare rules, health and safety rules, cancellation terms, refund policies, and onboard policies apply to your booking in addition to these terms.

2. Booking Requests and Traveler Information

You are responsible for providing accurate traveler names, dates of birth, contact information, citizenship or residency details, passport information, special requests, and payment information. Names and documents must match the requirements of the cruise line and any government authority.

A booking is not confirmed until the cruise line or supplier accepts the reservation and any required payment has been processed. We may contact you if additional information, updated pricing, or supplier approval is required.

3. Pricing and Availability

Prices, promotions, cabin inventory, taxes, port fees, gratuities, deposit requirements, and payment deadlines are subject to change until confirmed by the cruise line or supplier. Displayed prices may be estimates and may not include every optional charge, onboard purchase, government fee, insurance product, excursion, or transportation cost.

If a displayed price, cabin, itinerary, or promotion becomes unavailable or changes before confirmation, we will attempt to notify you and may offer available alternatives. We are not responsible for supplier inventory changes, pricing corrections, schedule changes, or website errors.

4. Payments

You authorize us and our payment processors to collect payments required for your booking, including deposits, balances, agency service fees, supplier charges, taxes, and related fees. Payment deadlines are set by the cruise line or supplier and may be strict.

Failure to pay required amounts by the applicable deadline may result in cancellation, loss of fare, loss of promotion, penalties, or other supplier-imposed charges. Payment processing is handled by third-party processors such as Stripe and may be subject to their terms.

5. Cancellations, Changes, and Refunds

Cancellation, change, refund, future cruise credit, no-show, name correction, and rebooking rules are determined primarily by the cruise line or supplier. Penalties may increase as the sailing date approaches, and some fares or promotions may be non-refundable.

Agency service fees may be separate from supplier charges and may be non-refundable unless we state otherwise in writing. Refund timing depends on the supplier and payment processor. We cannot guarantee that a supplier will approve a refund, credit, exception, or waiver.

6. Travel Documents, Entry Requirements, and Health Rules

You are responsible for obtaining and carrying all required passports, visas, travel authorizations, health documents, and other credentials. Entry, boarding, vaccination, testing, and public health requirements may change without notice.

We may provide general information as a convenience, but you should verify requirements with the cruise line, government authorities, and qualified advisors before travel.

7. Itinerary and Supplier Changes

Cruise lines and suppliers may change ships, cabins, ports, arrival and departure times, onboard offerings, excursions, policies, or itineraries for operational, safety, weather, regulatory, public health, or other reasons. We are not responsible for those supplier decisions or for missed ports, delays, denied boarding, or substituted services.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Caribbean Portals is not liable for acts, omissions, errors, delays, cancellations, overbookings, insolvency, accidents, injuries, losses, damages, or expenses caused by cruise lines, carriers, hotels, excursion operators, payment processors, technology providers, government authorities, or other third parties.

Our liability for agency services, if any, is limited to the amount of agency service fees you paid directly to us for the affected booking. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages.

9. User Conduct

You agree not to misuse the website, interfere with its operation, submit false information, attempt unauthorized access, or use the website for unlawful purposes. We may suspend or refuse service if we believe a request is fraudulent, abusive, unlawful, or inconsistent with supplier rules.

10. Governing Law Placeholder

These terms should be localized by counsel. Unless replaced with jurisdiction-specific language, they are intended to be governed by the laws of the state or country where Caribbean Portals is legally organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
